About Me

Principal Occupational Therapist Rachael Denington brings over 20 years of paediatric experience in Occupational Therapy working with families and children who experience difficulty fulfilling their potential in their daily lives or “occupations”. Rachael has worked in the disability services sector as well as in private practice with children with a range of diagnoses, including Autism, Cerebral Palsy and Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.

What I can work on with your child:

- Fine motor and handwriting skills

- School readiness and general school skills

- Social skills and engagement

- Feeding difficulties and fussy eating

- Toileting difficulties

- General development skills

- Pretend play

- Sensory processing and self-regulation

- Complex equipment assessment and prescription (e.g. seating systems, shower chairs, hoists )etc.

- ADOS (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule) assessment administration.

- National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) application and review reports

- Assessment and treatment reports
